I know my analytical skills aren't the best but I can usually decypher comic strips. Has Scott Adams messed up? or perhaps just maybe he's elevated comic strips to a new artistic, dadaist high.

Ah, the ole' livejournal. Seems like everyone forgot about it at the same time. Probably abandoned because of myspace and facebook. yet those are all flash and no substance I guess there can be substance, but your picture and number friends are more important than anything else. Anyway, last week felt like it lasted a year. The funeral was on friday, went well, porr Joe took it hard. My grandma still acts like she is in a daze but otherwise thinkgs are back to normal. Cheap Trick's "Surrender" has to be one of the greatest songs i've ever heard. Every once and a while i go for a month or so whitout listening to it and everytime i rediscover it i'm astounded. I wish Jacob was still here, i've got three or four songs close to finished and a couple in various states of completion. My voice is still screwed though, still not completely over the bronchitis. Anyway, til next time...

The semester's over. It was a disaster...worst one ever. Finally it is over....except for tests...those fucking tests. Oh well, i should do fine. Next semester back to learning about Britain! :) I like my Spanish teacher a lot...outside of Spanish class. But after many talks with him, i found out he didn't want to end up teaching Spanish. But i can't imagine anyone really wanting to do that. I can talk to him about politics, history, and music though....i can talk to very few poeple about all those things....maybe just Joey.

Too cold...i know a month ago i was begging for cold...but now...i've had enough.

I wanna practice dammit! WE WILL FREEZE TO DEATH! but i don't care....practice, practice practice. **STOMP...STOMP** Longfellow.

    What book am I?
man! the quiz was waaay too short. im nothing like that book! what crap! i didn't even like Catcher In The Rye.....but i don't like myself either...maybe there is something to this :)

You're The Catcher in the Rye!

    by J.D. Salinger

You are surrounded by phonies, and boy are you sick of them! In an
ongoing struggle to search for a land without phonies, you end up running away from
everything, from school to consequences. In this process, you reveal that many people
in your life have suffered torments and all you really want to do is catch them as
they fall. Perhaps using a baseball mitt. Your biggest fans are infamous
    psychotics.

At Jess' behest i bought a bottle a bottle of Jim Beam tonight. Whiskey is gross. It is a vile, nasty liquid that must have been created by demons. People could've never created such a drink. Whiskey is not fit for human consumption. Blegh! it tastes like garbage-juice.....i guess it does the job though. The two drinks i'll never drink again: Spiced Rum and Whiskey. Disgusting.

    Roland Space Echo

So i was looking around on the internet for info about the Roland Space Echo. Because im still on this delay/echo trip. It turns out that there is a myrid of maintainence involved with analog delay/echo. I mean it is obvious in retrospect but i wasn't thinking. Puts me off the idea of buying one at some point...they sound cool but would be way too much work. You have to clean the tape heads, oil the motor, change the tape (which is no doubt obsolete), and on and on. I mean it is a machine....i just wasn't thinking. Besides that they have been out of production since the late 70's so if i could find one it is probably a month away from breaking. How did Mick Jones find the time to maintain the thing and set the controls. Just look at all the knobs....scary.

Finished my paper on time. But it was slap-dash like everything in my life. Why can't i just sit down and work on a paper. This one interested me...The Inca Great Rebellion.....i could've written a very good papaer...but yet again i wrote a paper at the last minute. Well perhaps next time.

Birthday tomorrow. Ironically, on November 15, 1533 Francisco Pizarro took the Inca capital of Cuzco. November 16, 1532 was the day Francisco Pizarro first met and captured Atahualpa at Cajamarca. I love that name Atahualpa.....if i ever have two pets at once they are going to be named Atahualpa and Huascar (Atahualpa's brother/rival).
