ARUBA!!!!!!!!!

SHUT UP! Who fucking cares about Natalie Halloway?!?! So some fucking young blonde American girl disappears in Aruba. Who cares!?! The London bombings are old news but we go back to this months-old fucking crap in Aruba. Ooooo...they found some hair and are going to have it tested to see if it is hers.....NO ONE CARES! And if there is someone who cares, I want to meet them and see what a douchebag looks like. On Friday that barrel washed up on the beach.....and everyone's hopes were raised and all the networks sent people to cover it....and then. what was the outcome? It turned out it was filled with sand, not some body and probably held down a buoy and had been underwater for a decade. LORD! Fucking awful!

That new Harry Potter book was released on Saturday. Theo and I went to Bares and Noble and Borders on Friday night....both were madhouses. The books went on sale at midnight. At 11:50 Border's was nuts.......the parking lots of Pier 1 and that little shopping center were both full and cars were lined up along the curbs. I couldn't face such a large crowd...it was massive.....so we needed some liquid courage. We took multiple swigs from our bottles of liquer...Theo had vodka and i had peppermint schnappes. Then we went in and waded through the throngs of kids, teens, and young adults. Borders people were screaming over the speakers, Theo was taking pictures, kids were screaming, people were in there ass-to-ass, no room, i could barely breath. I had to go outside...couldn't stay. So we left.....horrible. He kept quoting Harold Bloom....but i think he is a fucking asshole. Freaking Harold Bloom ....i could rant about him forever...but i won't...because it is boing.

Gary and I put a new transmission in my car last week. We had it in the garage at work and while we were working on it the lift holding it up broke. Scared the hell out of us. A cable on it broke. We couldn't raise it, but we could lower it and did it post-haste. Fucking scary......we were under the damn thing when it happened and it dropped several inches when the cable broke!
